Diesel particulate filter cleaner XADO RED DPF CLEANER (diesel fuel)

XADO RED DPF CLEAN – a product for regenerating and cleaning the particulate filters of diesel engines. Contains the REVITALIZANT component.

The diesel particulate filter (DPF – diesel engine particulate filter) is an important component of the exhaust system of diesel engines, designed to collect and retain the solid soot particles formed when fuel burns in the cylinders.

In diesel cars that spend most of their time on short trips, the particulate filter does not have time to warm up to operating temperature to get rid of the soot particles that have accumulated in it. The result: the particulate filter gradually fills up, which affects engine operation – power drops, fuel consumption rises, and so on. To clean the particulate filter, a regeneration procedure must be carried out periodically, during which the accumulated soot is burned off at a high exhaust gas temperature.

Passive regeneration – takes place automatically when the vehicle is driven at high speed or when the engine runs for a long time at high revs, when the exhaust gas temperature reaches the level needed to burn the soot.

Active regeneration – it is triggered by the engine's electronic control unit (ECU), which artificially raises the exhaust gas temperature so that the soot burns off effectively. Regular regeneration of the particulate filter helps keep it in good condition and protects it from clogging. XADO RED DPF CLEAN is intended for regenerating and cleaning diesel particulate filters.

• CERAFER TWIN FLAME is a highly effective catalytic additive complex based on cerium and iron, which lowers the soot combustion temperature by speeding up its oxidation in the particulate filter, which allows the filter regeneration process to be carried out in part-load mode.
• REVITALIZANT – protects fuel system parts from the constant wear of metal friction surfaces.
