Gearbox assembly for 156FMI engine – two shafts with six gears each: in the drawing, a 147 mm shaft with gears from 24z to 36z, and a 174,5 mm shaft with gears from 13z to 25z (z – tooth count). Compare with your old shafts before ordering.

  • These two shafts carry the gearbox gears; when you shift gear, a different pair of gears takes over the drive.
  • 147 mm shaft: 29z (Ø57 mm), 36z (Ø68 mm), 28z (Ø56 mm), 26z (Ø51,5 mm), 24z (Ø48 mm) and 32z (Ø61,5 mm); one end Ø15 mm, the other splined – "6 frez.", Ø20 mm.
  • 174,5 mm shaft: 19z (Ø38,5 mm), 13z (Ø27,5 mm), 20z (Ø40 mm), 23z (Ø44,5 mm), 25z (Ø48 mm) and 17z (Ø34 mm); splined sections "6 frez." – Ø20 mm and Ø30 mm.
  • The longer shaft's end is threaded, marked Ø15,8 mm there; the opposite end is Ø15 mm.
  • The drawing also marks the gear widths – from 8 mm to 12 mm.
  • The photo gives no shift forks, no shift drum and no bearings.
