• The 22 mm arrow rests on the round handlebar bore — this is the dimension you need to match first
• In the second photo the same part is marked 28 mm and M 9: 28 mm measures the bore from the other side, M 9 — the thread in the nipple into which the cable adjuster is screwed
• The photo shows a black housing with one nipple on the side and two bolts at the bottom. There is no thumb lever in this listing
• The first dimension you need to match is the handlebar tube diameter at the clamp: a handlebar that is too wide will not fit into the housing, one too narrow will let the housing spin
• The second thing is the cable end: throttle cables end in cylindrical terminals of different sizes, and an unsuitable terminal will not seat in the drum
• The throttle grip must return by itself once you let go. If it stays turned without pressing, either the drum is faulty or fouled, or the clamp is over-tightened
• It is time to replace it when the housing is cracked at the bolt, when the drum is worn, or when the grip no longer returns by itself
