ATV plastic throttle grip

• The 22 mm arrow rests against the round handlebar bore in the housing – this is the most important dimension: it must match your handlebar tube
• 64 mm measures the housing diagonally, 10 mm the diameter of the sleeve the cable enters
• The photo shows the housing with the thumb lever, two bolts and the upper cable sleeve. The second photo shows the same part from the other side
• The thumb lever means the speed is controlled with the thumb, not by twisting the grip: this is how ATVs are controlled
• The first dimension that has to match is the handlebar tube diameter at the clamp point: too wide a handlebar will not fit into the housing, too narrow will let the housing spin
• The second thing is the cable end: throttle cables end in cylindrical nipples of different sizes, and the wrong nipple will not seat in the drum
• The throttle grip must return by itself when you let go. If it stays turned without pressure, the cause is either a dirty drum or a clamp tightened too hard
• Time to replace when the housing is cracked at the bolt, when the drum is worn, or when the grip no longer returns by itself
