• The 230 mm arrow runs across the whole assembly with the lever, 135 mm – across the housing with the reservoir. This is the only card of this pair for which the maker wrote the dimensions
• The photo shows a rectangular reservoir with a round fluid-level window on the side; next to the window "LOWER" is moulded. On the clamp "UP" is moulded with an arrow – it shows which side the assembly is fitted
• The clamp fits onto the handlebar, so you also need to match the handlebar tube diameter at the clamp point
• In the hydraulic system, the master cylinder pushes fluid to the caliper. It is chosen by piston diameter and hose thread, not by lever length
• Hydraulic and cable levers look similar from the outside but are different inside: a steel cable hangs off the cable one, while the hydraulic one has a master cylinder with a hose screwed onto it
