Cylinder with piston YAMAHA JOG 80, bore 47 mm: the drawing marks the same figure across the cylinder bore and across the piston, and the body has cooling fins. Measure your old cylinder before ordering.

• The cylinder and piston are replaced as a pair when the walls develop scoring or the rings wear — then the engine loses compression and power.
• The photo shows: a cylinder with cooling fins, a piston, a gudgeon pin, two pin circlips, two piston rings and a thin wire ring, a silver gasket with four ears and a grey gasket; there is no coolant stub and no head.
• We measured the ends of the arrows: the piston is 47 mm in diameter and 49 mm high, the pin is 10 mm in diameter and 37 mm long.
• 22 mm is marked from the edge of the pin hole, not from its centre, to the top of the piston; whether it runs to the crown edge or to the ring groove, we cannot say for certain from the end of the line.
• The stud holes are set out in a 50×50 mm square, the lines running through their centres; the side flange has two holes 48 mm apart, and the flange opening is 25 mm.
• Height – 88 mm including the protruding bush, and 62 mm from the flange the bush protrudes from to the opposite edge of the body.

To be straight with you: the supplier did not state what TW means in the name or which JOG models and years this cylinder is for, and we do not calculate the working volume from the 47 mm bore, because the stroke is not in the photo. Before ordering, use a caliper to measure the old cylinder's bore, the pin thickness and the distance between the studs, and send us a photo of the old part — we will check it before you order.
