Spark plug NGK C7HSA 4629 (suitable for GY6)

NGK C7HSA ignition spark plug — a 10 mm thread plug, narrower than the BR-series plugs in the range. The mark C7HSA is printed on the end of the box.

• The letter C in the code — 10 mm thread; this is the narrowest thread among the NGK plugs in this range: the D8EA has 12 mm, the BR series — 14 mm
• The number 7 — the heat range indicator on the NGK scale: a higher number means a colder plug
• The letter H — 12,7 mm thread length, that is how far the plug reaches into the head
• There is no letter R in the code, which NGK uses to mark the radio-suppressor resistor
• The name states the NGK number 4629 and the note "suitable for GY6" — both taken from the name
• Also in the range: the 12 mm thread D8EA 2120 and the 14 mm thread BR series
• Also in the range is another 10 mm thread plug — A7TC, its name also marked GY6; the maker provided all its dimensions with a drawing

We write only what we know. On the box visible in the photo only the mark C7HSA is legible — we could not read the number 4629 there, so we take it from the name. NGK marking tells you the thread diameter, the resistor, the heat range and the thread length, but it does not tell you which machine the plug is for — we cannot derive that from the code and we do not write it. Before ordering, copy the marking off your old plug or measure its thread and write to us — we will check it before you order.
