Ignition coil (coil) 4T tuning

4T engine ignition coil, tuning version: the photo shows an orange housing, 2 flat blade contacts, a black high-voltage lead and an orange spark plug cap. Compare the contacts and the cap with your old coil.

• The ignition coil turns low voltage into voltage that jumps the spark plug gap; when it is worn out, the engine starts hard when cold, and once warm it starts misfiring
• The housing is orange plastic, at the end of the coil — two flat blade contacts next to each other; next to one of them you can see a green plastic separator
• The high-voltage lead is black, rubberised, with no markings at all; its end finishes in an orange rubber spark plug cap with a wide rim
• The cap's bore is shown straight-on in the photo — it is round and smooth, with no thread
• The word "tuning" in the name does not measure anything: the maker gave no spark, no winding resistance and no voltage
• The photo gives neither the coil's length, nor the lead's length, nor the contacts' width

To be straight with you: which of the two contacts is the power one and which is the control one is not marked on the part, and we do not guess it. Which model and which years this coil is for, the maker also did not state. Before ordering, measure your old coil's contact width and the spark plug cap's diameter, send us a photo of the old part — we will check it before you order.
