Disc brake master cylinder, left side. No dimensions are marked in the photo, but you can see what belongs to the assembly.

• Honestly: the maker did not put a single number on this listing's photo – not the piston diameter, not the thread
• The photo shows the whole assembly: a black reservoir with a cap, a body with a clamp for the handlebar, a lever and a black wire with two cores. Brass terminals are visible at the end of the wire
• On the side of the reservoir there is a round fluid-level window, and next to it the moulded word LOWER – fluid must not be let down below this line
• The two-core wire runs from the brake light switch: pressing the lever turns on the rear light. This is what tells this assembly apart from the ones with no wire
• In the hydraulic system, the master cylinder pushes fluid into the caliper. It is chosen by piston diameter and hose thread, not by lever length
• Hydraulic and cable levers look alike from the outside but differ inside: a steel cable hooks onto the cable one, while the master cylinder with its hose screws onto the hydraulic one
• Master cylinders sit in three places in the shop: under "Levers / Knobs", under "Brake cylinders, discs, drums" and under "Brake levers". If you do not find the right one here, open the others
• Time to replace it is when the lever is bent, when the pivot bore has widened, or when the end of the lever has broken off

The maker did not say which specific model and year this part is for, and we do not guess – but we can compare dimensions for you: write us your model and year.
