Threading die DIN5158 (252) LH – for a left-hand G 5/8"x14 thread: the card lists one size, the specifications give the thread type as LH. Before ordering, measure the workpiece and check the thread direction.

• This threading die cuts an external thread on the end of a rod or tube.
• LH means a left-hand thread: it is turned counter-clockwise, so this die does not fit an ordinary right-hand thread.
• G 5/8"x14: G stands for a cylindrical pipe thread, 5/8 is the nominal size in inches (it is not equal to the thread's outer diameter), 14 is the number of threads per inch.
