Product information

Fuel filter (square). It catches rust and sediment from the tank so it does not reach the carburettor: cleaning clogged jets is harder than replacing the filter in time.

  • Fitted into the fuel hose between the tank and the carburettor; it is worth clamping both ends with hose clips
  • The housing is transparent and square — you can see when the element is dirty, instead of waiting for the engine to start choking
  • When to replace it: the engine pulls normally at first, then after a few kilometres starts to choke — often the carburettor is not at fault, a clogged filter or tap is
  • Supplier code MC 04288 — quote it if you order again
  • Look for fuel hoses and hose clips under the "Hoses" category, fuel taps under "Fuel taps"
