Magneto (rotor) for a GY6 4T 125cc engine – the rotating part of the generator with permanent magnets.

• The magneto (rotor) turns together with the crankshaft and excites the stator windings with its own field; without it the generator gives no current
• The rotor is replaced because of weakened magnets, a cracked or spun inner disc and a chipped keyway – then the ignition is late or disappears
• To remove it you need a tool that screws on by its thread, not a leg-type puller; threaded pullers are separate items – there are some in this category and also in the "Tools" category

To be straight with you: the shaft bore is tapered, so it is marked with two numbers – 18 mm at the top and 16 mm at the bottom. Which model year and which modification it is for, the supplier did not state, and we do not guess – write us your model and year. Before ordering, measure the outer diameter of your rotor and the shaft bore – or send us a photo of the old rotor: we will check it.
