Hall sensor B

Hall sensor, marked B – a pulse sensor for the ignition, two short wires without a connector.

• A Hall sensor (Hall pickup, pulse sensor) tells the ignition unit when the rotor pin passes; once it fails there is no spark at all, or it disappears once things heat up
• Before replacing it, check the wire itself and the connector: a wire worn through near the frame gives the same symptoms, and checking costs nothing
• The photo shows the body on a bulkier two-eared bracket and two short wires – green and dark blue, with bare ends
• The list has two more sensors just like it, marked A and C. C is noticeably smaller and has two thin light-blue wires; A differs from B only in the bracket shape
• The size is not visible in the photo: it has neither a ruler nor an item placed beside it for comparison
• Supplier code AT 149ME1006-IM – quote it again when ordering

To be straight with you: what the letter B means, the supplier did not explain, and the photos of A and B differ too little to choose by the letter. Which year's model and which modification it is for, the supplier did not state, and we do not guess – write us your model and year. Send us a photo of the old assembly – we will check it before you order.
