Tool for removing 2T magnet

Tool for removing a 2T magnet – a plate Ø 69,5 mm with an M12×1,25 stud, bolts and washers.

• You cannot knock the magnet off the crankshaft, and a leg-type puller will not pull it off either: it sits on a taper, and comes off with a threaded tool that screws on and presses against the end of the shaft
• If you try to remove it with a lever or a chisel, you will deform the rotor bell and damage the keyway – after that even a new part will not help
• Everything is marked on the photo: stud 43 mm, thread M12×1,25; plate Ø 69,5 mm, hole spacing 48 mm and 42 mm, central thread M12×1,25
• The set includes three M6×1,0 bolts and three washers; the plate has four elongated slots, so it fits several bolt patterns
• This tool does not bear against the rotor's thread but against its bolt holes – so first compare the 48 mm and 42 mm hole spacing with your rotor
• If your rotor comes off by thread rather than by holes, use a different tool – the thread of those pullers is given in their own name, M24x1 or M27x1, and they are listed in the "Tools" category
