Hall sensor for CG motor

Hall sensor for a CG engine, supplier code WI ZQI2005: the ignition pickup, with a long loom and a white two-pin connector at the end.

• The Hall sensor (Hall pickup, ignition pickup) tells the ignition unit when the rotor pin goes past; when it stops working there is no spark at all, or the spark disappears once the engine is hot
• Before replacing it, check the lead itself and the connector: a lead chafed through against the frame gives the same symptoms, and checking costs nothing
• The photo shows a yellow-zinc two-lug bracket, a grey lead in a black sheath and a white two-pin connector on the end
• This is the only sensor in the category whose photo clearly shows the connector — the other four end in bare wires
• There is no size to be read off the photo: no ruler, no object laid beside it for scale
