GY6 engine generator windings (stator), 11 poles: the replaceable coil plate — the very part of the generator that burns out most often.

• The stator is the fixed part of the generator: the magnet spins around it, current builds up in the windings, charges the battery and feeds the ignition
• A burnt stator shows itself by blackened windings, a smell of burning, a battery that will not charge and a spark that dies as the engine warms up
• Before replacing, measure the winding resistance and the insulation resistance to earth: often the fault is the regulator or oxidised connector pins, not the stator
• We take the number of poles from the name — in the photo part of the coils is covered by the loom, so we do not recount them
• The number of poles alone is not enough: the plate diameter, the number of leads and the plug type all have to match — compare it with your old stator
• There is no size to be read off the photo: no ruler, no object laid beside it for scale

To be straight with you: in the supplier's data this product's code is the same as the code of two other stators, so we do not publish it. Which model year and which version it is made for, the supplier did not say, and we do not guess — write us your model and year. Before ordering, measure your own stator plate diameter and count the leads, or send a photo of the old part: we will check.
