Generator windings (stator) for the ATV200 quad, 11 poles – a coil plate with no housing, fitted in place of the old one.

• The stator is the stationary part of the generator: a magnet rotates around it, and the windings generate a current that charges the battery and powers the ignition
• You can tell a burnt-out stator by blackened windings, a smell of burning, a battery that will not charge, and the spark disappearing once the engine warms up
• Before replacing it, measure the winding resistance and the insulation resistance to earth: often the fault is not the stator but the voltage regulator or oxidised connector contacts
• We take the pole count from the name – in the photo part of the coils is covered by the wiring loom, so we do not recount them
• The list has several ATV200 stators with a different pole count – 8, 11, 12 and 18; take the same one that is fitted in your engine
• The pole count alone is not enough: the plate diameter, the number of wires and the connector type must all match too – compare with your old stator
• The dimensions are marked in the further photos: outer Ø 93 mm, central bore Ø 35 mm, hole spacing 38 mm, stack height 28 mm and 29,5 mm, plate thickness 15 mm
