Cylinder with piston YAMAHA Aerox 80 water TW

Cylinder with piston YAMAHA Aerox 80, liquid-cooled (called "water" in the name): on the drawing the cylinder bore and the piston are both 47 mm, the pin is 10 mm, the stud holes are 50 mm apart. Compare it with your old cylinder before ordering.

• The cylinder and the piston are replaced together when the cylinder walls or the piston rings wear out: then compression drops and the engine loses power.
• The photo shows: the cylinder with the coolant spigot, the piston, the pin, two pin circlips, two piston rings and a thin wire ring, a blue-grey and a black gasket, an orange ring with four lugs and a large black ring; there is no head.
• We measured where the arrows end: 47 mm — across the cylinder bore and across the piston, 49 mm — piston height from the top edge to the bottom of the skirt, 10 mm and 37 mm — the pin's diameter and length.
• 22 mm is marked upward from the edge of the pin bore, not from its centre; whether it runs to the crown edge or to the ring groove, we cannot say for certain from the end of the line.
• The stud holes are 50 mm apart, diagonally — 70 mm, and the side flange has two holes 48 mm apart: the ends of all these lines rest on the centres of the holes.
• 65 mm — from the flange the bush sticks out of to the opposite edge of the body; next to the spigot D 12 is marked, but the arrow does not show whether it is the inner or the outer diameter.

We write only what we know. What TW means in the name and which Aerox models and years this cylinder fits, the supplier did not state, and we do not calculate the displacement from the 47 mm bore, because the stroke is not in the photo. Before ordering, use a caliper to measure your old cylinder's bore, the pin diameter and the distance between the studs, and send us a photo of the old part — we will check it before you order.
