Product information

LED bulb, PX15D base, in place of a standard PX15D incandescent or halogen: an LED has no filament, and on a motorcycle vibration is what breaks filaments.

  • The PX15D base is metal, with a locating ring and a locking tab, the same as on an incandescent PX15D bulb
  • The diodes are set on both sides — so that the light spreads into the reflector the way a twin-filament bulb spreads it
  • The body is metal and finned — that is the LED's heatsink; it needs room behind the bulb, so look and see whether that room is there
  • In the same category you will find PX15D halogen bulbs — white ones, a bluish one and a 25/25 W

To be straight with you: the name gives 35/35 W. Whether that is the power of the LED itself or of the incandescent bulb it goes in place of, the maker did not make clear, and the voltage and the light output the maker did not give at all.
