Front sprocket 420 13T

Front sprocket 420, 13 teeth – the small sprocket on the engine shaft. It turns the fastest of the whole drivetrain and wears out first, so it is replaced together with the chain and the rear sprocket.

• Marking 420 – it must match your chain's marking, otherwise the teeth will not match its pitch
• 13 teeth – the drawing says "13 teeth", "13T" is cast into the part itself
• The chain marking is written out in words on the drawing: "420 chain"
• Central bore 14 mm with splines – they must match your engine shaft's splines
• 30 mm between the two retaining plate holes
• Replace all three parts together – on worn teeth a new chain wears out fast and stretches again
• The list of 420 front sprockets has a whole range – 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 teeth; one tooth fewer gives shorter gearing, one more – longer gearing

To be straight with you: before ordering, copy the marking from your chain's plate, count the teeth on the old sprocket and measure the bolt-circle and the central bore – we will check it before you order.
