Front sprocket ATV 428 23z 24 splines

Front sprocket 428, 23 teeth, 24 splines — the small sprocket on the engine shaft. It spins fastest of the whole drive and wears first, so it is replaced together with the chain and the rear sprocket.

• Marking 428 — it must match your chain's marking, otherwise the teeth will not match its pitch
• 23 teeth
• 24 splines inside — your engine shaft must have the same number; count the splines on your old sprocket
• The same category has the identical 23-tooth sprocket with 19 splines — the spline count is not interchangeable
• Replace all three parts together — a new chain wears quickly on worn teeth and stretches again
