ATV valve set D — two dark-metal valves; the head of the valve lying flat in the photo shows a stamped but illegible mark. Compare it with your old valves before ordering.

  • The valve opens the port in the head, and the spring presses the head back onto the seat; a burnt or bent head lets gas through and lowers compression.
  • In the photo one valve stands on its head, the other lies flat; both stems have a groove for the keepers at the end.
  • The mark on the head of the flat-lying valve is too faint in the photo, so we don't transcribe it and don't rely on it.
  • The letter D in the name tells this set apart from other ATV valve sets; the supplier never explained what it means.
  • The photo shows neither the head diameter, nor the stem thickness, nor the valve length.
