Throttle outer cable, 1 m, red: the tube the cable slides inside — once it is cracked or kinked, even a brand-new cable starts to snag.

  • Inside, steel wire is wound in a spiral, with a plastic cover outside; finish the cut end with an outer cable tip, or the wire will fray
