• In the photo the length is split into two parts: a 154,50 mm smooth shank and a 30,50 mm threaded end. Together that is 185 mm, the same number as in the name
• The Ø 10 mm arrow points to the shank – that is the diameter that has to match the wheel bearing
• This axle is named in the title as belonging to the disc brake system: in that system the wheel also carries a brake disc, so there is more room between the eyes
• The axle is chosen by two dimensions: the shank diameter and the length. The diameter has to match the wheel bearing's inner ring, and the length has to be enough to go through both fork eyes with the nut
