Delta chain tensioner

Delta chain tensioner – a pair of plates with adjusting bolts. In the photo both are marked with dimensions, and they differ.

• One plate is marked 93,30 mm long, 17,35 mm high and 27,60 mm bore, the other – 83,50 mm, 12,45 mm and 25,75 mm. The thread on both is 5,80 mm
• This means the pair is not two identical parts: the left and right sides differ both in length and in bore size. You need to choose both together
• The second photo shows the whole kit: two plates, two light-blue nuts, two flat washers and two circlips
• Chain tension is checked at the middle of the swingarm: healthy tension lets the chain move roughly a finger’s width up and down, not be taut like a string
• Tensioners work in pairs: if you replace one side, the other must be the same, otherwise the wheel sits crooked and the chain will run off-line
• Time to replace when the thread is stripped, when the plate’s bore has widened, or when the bolt no longer holds the set position

To be straight with you: which of the two plates is the left one is not marked in the photo. For which specific model and which years this part is meant, the maker did not state, and we do not guess – but we can compare dimensions: write us your model and year.
