Air filter high cone D50

Tall cone-shaped air filter, connector diameter 50 mm. The air filter protects the carburettor and cylinder from dust. A clogged filter makes the engine pull worse, and with no filter at all, sand goes straight into the cylinder.

• Connector diameter 50 mm – the rubber sleeve fits over the carburettor spigot and is clamped with a clip; the clip is included
• The body is tall – before ordering, check that there is enough room for it under the plastics or by the frame
• Filtering element – a mesh: it can be washed and reused, and after washing and drying it is worth oiling with air filter oil (you will find it in the "Oils & care" category)
• When to replace: when the element stays grey even after washing, when it is torn, or when the rubber sleeve has hardened and cracked
• The same filter also comes with 46 mm and 54 mm connectors – you will find them next to it, in the same list
• An open filter lets through more air than the standard housing: the mixture leans out and the main jet usually has to be taken larger – look for jets in the "Carburettors and their parts" category

To be straight with you: the maker states only the connector diameter — it gives neither the body dimensions nor which engine the filter is for. The filter sleeve is measured from the inside, and the carburettor spigot from the outside: measure the outer diameter of the spigot or send us a photo — we will tell you whether it matches.
