Mini bike engine, motocross, for children's bikes — the middle one of our three: reduction gear with a drive sprocket, carburettor and air filter fitted.

  • Reduction gear with a drive sprocket — the power reaches the chain through a gearbox, not straight off the shaft. That is exactly what sets it apart from the cheaper version
  • The carburettor is fitted, the cone air filter is in place
  • Pull starter with a rope
  • Ignition coil with a lead and a spark plug cap
  • Air-cooled — a finned cylinder under a cover with openings

To be straight with you: mini bike engines differ in their mounting points and in the sprocket, and the name will not tell you which one is yours. Photograph your old engine from the side and from the side the chain runs on — from the two photos we will tell you whether it fits. Better to check in advance than to wait for a parcel and be disappointed.

The cheaper version has no reduction gear and an open centrifugal clutch. The bigger one is 290 mm long.
