Product information

Mini bike reed valve: flat, with four mounting holes, in the drawing 40 mm and 35 mm between hole centres. Measure your valve's hole spacing before ordering.

  • The valve lets the mixture through into the engine and closes when the pressure in the crankcase rises, so the mixture does not flow back into the carburettor.
  • We measured the arrow ends: both lines' ends refer to the hole centres — 40 mm on one side of the flange, 35 mm on the other.
  • The flange is a plate of brownish metal; on it are black reed petals under a silver-coloured limiter with two prongs, fastened with two small screws.
  • There is an embossed marking on the limiter, but in the photo it is too small to read.
  • The photo gives neither the bore size nor the thickness of the petals.
