Mini bike engine, the simplest and the cheapest of our three petrol ones: no reduction gear, the clutch drives a small sprocket directly on the shaft.

  • An open centrifugal clutch with a small sprocket straight on the shaft — there is no reduction gear. That is exactly what makes it different from the dearer versions, and exactly why it costs less
  • A simple build: fewer assemblies, fewer things to go wrong
  • The carburettor is fitted and the conical air filter is in place
  • A pull starter with a rope
  • Air-cooled — a finned cylinder under a cowl with openings

To be straight with you: if your machine had a reduction gear, this engine will not work with the same chain and sprocket — then you need the dearer version. Photograph the old engine from the side and from the chain side: from two photos we will see what suits you, and we will tell you straight.

The dearer versions come with a reduction gear: a cross model, and a bigger one 290 mm long.
