YAMAHA-MINARELLI-MBK variator plate: diameter 93 mm, centre bore 13 mm. This is the fixed side of the variator – the one the belt rests against.

  • Marked in the photo: plate diameter 93 mm and centre bore 13 mm
  • In the photo, next to the plate lies a six-pointed splined star, marked 13 mm; whether it is included or only shown alongside as a pair is not shown by the data we have
  • The cone is polished, and from the back runs a ring of ventilation vanes – it drives air through the variator box
  • The list also has "Variator plate KEEWAY 16mm shaft" – the same 93 mm diameter, but with a 16 mm bore, and "Variator plate star 13mm YAMAHA" separately
  • You can recognise a worn plate by the shiny, inward-worn cone and a hair-thin ridge at the edge: a new belt on such a plate quickly gets thin again
