Starter pawl

Starter pawl — a light-coloured metal plate: on one side, two grey pawls with springs, on the other, six radial ribs running from the central hole to the edges. Compare with your old part before ordering.

• When you pull the starter rope, this part's pawls engage and transfer rotation to the engine — this is how it starts.
• At the corners — four holes: two are empty, and in the other two you can see pin ends, encircled by black open rings.
• The pawls sit on either side of the central hole, and a raised rim runs along the plate's edge.
• The central hole is in a raised hub, with concentric rings around it; the letter R is stamped next to each pawl.
• The photo gives no plate dimensions, no distance between the holes and no central hole diameter.

To be straight with you: the name gives neither the engine nor the trimmer model, so we do not guess what it fits. Before ordering, measure the distance between the centres of the empty holes and the central hole's diameter, send us a photo of the old part — we will check it before you order.
