Gearbox 28 mm 4 – one of six gearboxes whose listings share the same photos; its name has 28 mm and 4, and what these numbers mean is not explained. Compare with your old gearbox before ordering.

• The gearbox at the end of the shaft passes the rotation from the drive shaft to the cutting head or blade and turns it through an angle.
• What is measured as 28 mm is not written in the name, and next to the number 4 there is no unit or explanation.
• A gearbox with 26 mm also has the number 4; besides these, the series also has 26 mm and 28 mm gearboxes with 7 and 9.
• Three photos are shared by the whole series of six gearboxes, so we do not describe the appearance based on them.
• The listing has no dimensions, no output shaft thread and no compatible models.

To be straight with you: the name does not say which equipment this gearbox fits, and we do not guess. Before ordering, measure the outer diameter of the shaft tube at the gearbox, count the splines or ribs on the end of the drive shaft, send us a photo of the old part — we will check it before you order.
