Rear sprocket 520 36T D48mm

Rear sprocket 520, 36 teeth, D 48 mm – a toothed wheel on the rear hub. Together with the front sprocket and the chain it forms the drive: the number of teeth decides whether the bike accelerates faster or runs faster on the straight.

• Marking 520 – it must match the marking of your chain, otherwise the teeth will not match its pitch
• 36 teeth – that many are counted on the sprocket itself
• The number with the letter D in the name is 48 mm. In drawings it does not always mark the same thing: most often the centre bore, sometimes the bolt circle, so before ordering measure both dimensions on your sprocket
• 520 – a wider marking than 428; the chain and both sprockets must be of the same marking
• Change all three parts together – on worn teeth a new chain wears out quickly and stretches again
