Rear sprocket 420 37T D48mm

Rear sprocket 420, 37 teeth, D 48 mm – a toothed wheel on the rear hub. Together with the front sprocket and the chain it forms the final drive ratio: the tooth count decides whether the machine accelerates faster or reaches a higher top speed on the straight.

• Marking 420 – it must match the marking on your chain, otherwise the teeth will not match its pitch
• 37 teeth – that many were counted on the sprocket itself
• The number with the letter D in the name is 48 mm. In the drawings it does not always mark the same thing: most often the centre bore, sometimes the hole circle, so before ordering measure both dimensions on your own sprocket
• The same category has an identical 37-tooth sprocket, but with a 428 marking – the markings are not interchangeable
• Replace all three parts together – a new chain wears quickly and stretches again on worn teeth

To be straight with you: before ordering, copy the marking from your chain's side plate, count the teeth on your old sprocket, and measure the mounting-hole circle and the centre bore – we will check it before you order.
