Oil filter for Piaggio and Vespa 125 cm³ engines, HIFLO HF181: cartridge type — only the element is replaced, while its housing with the cap stays on the engine.

  • HIFLO number HF181, factory Piaggio number 410229 — the filter is matched by these numbers
  • Cartridge type, not screw-in — it has no thread and is not turned with a wrench
  • Replaced together with the oil; at the same time check the cap sealing ring (gasket) — it usually needs replacing at the same time
  • When fitting the new element, make sure it seats all the way in — if fitted incorrectly it will let unfiltered oil through
