HIFLO HF148 is a spin-on oil filter, picked by its HF number and changed with the oil: it holds back the wear particles and the sludge in the engine.

  • The HIFLO number HF148 is what the filter is chosen by: check it in your motorcycle's manual or copy the number off the old filter
  • It is changed together with the oil, there is no need to change it separately
  • Before screwing on the new filter, smear its sealing ring (the gasket) with clean oil and check that the old filter's ring has not stayed on the engine — with two of them the oil will leak
