HIFLO HF147 is a spin-on oil filter. It traps wear particles and deposits: the filter decides what oil reaches the engine bearings and valve train.
- HIFLO number HF147 — the filter is matched by it: check your motorcycle's manual or copy the number off the old filter
- Replaced together with the oil; there is no need to change it separately
- Before screwing in the new filter, coat its sealing ring (gasket) with clean oil and check that the old filter's ring has not stayed on the engine — if two remain, oil will leak
To be straight with you: we do not publish a compatibility list on the card — the HIFLO list is long and depends on the model year, and a mistake here is costly. Write us your motorcycle's model and year, or the number printed on the old filter — we will check and reply.
