Product information

ATV disc brake pads, marked in the name with the numbers 75x36 40x26. The dimensions are written directly on the photo, not in a separate drawing, and there are five of them: the larger pad’s width is 74 mm and height 36,5 mm, the smaller pad’s 39,5 mm and 27 mm, and between the tab hole centres — 58 mm.

  • The larger pad: width 74 mm, height 36,5 mm, two tabs with holes
  • The smaller one: width 39,5 mm, height 27 mm; it has no tabs or holes. The pads are not identical — when choosing, match the dimensions of both, not just one
  • The fifth number shows the distance between the CENTRES of the tab holes, not between their edges — in the photo the arrow points exactly to the holes’ centre lines
  • This listing is an exception: there is one photo here, no drawing, and the arrows with numbers are drawn directly on the photo itself. The other disc-pad listings in this category — eighteen of them — do have a drawing
  • Neither pad’s thickness is marked here: the five arrows measure only width, height and hole spacing. In the other disc-pad listings in this category, thickness is always marked — from 5,5 mm to 9,5 mm — but here it is missing both from the photo and from the name
  • The numbers in the name and in the photo do not quite match: the name says 75x36 and 40x26, the photo says 74 mm and 36,5 mm and 39,5 mm and 27 mm. Which source is more accurate, the maker did not explain — measure your old pad, do not just pick between the two numbers
  • The tab holes in the photo are almost square: their width and height in the photo are equal, and the corners are heavily rounded. There are no round holes here, of the kind named in the listing "with round holes"
  • 58 mm is the only such spacing in this category: other tabbed pads are marked with 25 mm, 28 mm, 40 mm, 68 mm and 75,8 mm spacings; three listings have 68 mm — 225100040, 225100130 and "with a bend"
  • This listing has no maker’s part number — what distinguishes it from neighbouring listings is the numbers 75x36 and 40x26 in the name; these numbers do not appear in any other name
  • Time to replace them is when the friction material wears down to the metal backing, or when it is scorched and glazed: then the brake squeals and the lever travels almost to the handlebar
  • The pad is pressed against the disc by the caliper piston; if yours is leaking or seized, the pad alone will not fix the problem. The caliper itself is a separate product, listed as "Disc brake cylinder (caliper)"
  • How many pads you get, the maker did not state for this product. In the photo there are two and they are not identical, and a caliper always needs a pair, so check with us before ordering — we will answer

To be straight with you: the thickness — the number that says whether the pad will even fit into the caliper at all — is missing both from the photo and from the name. Neither the tab hole dimensions nor the friction material type has the maker stated for this product. Which specific model and which years these pads fit, the maker did not state, and we do not guess — but we can compare dimensions for you: write us your model and year. Before ordering, remove the old pad and use calipers to measure its width, height and thickness, and if it has tabs — also the distance between their hole centres; or send a photo: we will check it before you order.
