Fuse with housing

Fuse with housing: the photo shows a translucent plastic holder with a glass fuse inside and 2 wires coming out of the sides. Compare the wire ends with your wiring: in the two photos they are different.

• This kind of holder is fitted into a break in the wire: when the fuse blows, the cap is flipped open and the glass tube is replaced without removing the holder itself
• The housing is white and translucent, so the fuse is visible even without opening it; inside – two metal clamps holding the tube's caps
• In the first photo one wire ends in a gold-coloured ring terminal, and the other – simply in a cut end
• In the second photo both wires end in gold-coloured plug terminals. We show both photos, and we do not choose for the maker which version you will get
• The wires are red, the same thickness on both sides
• The photo gives no holder length, no wire length, no fuse rating, and no cross-section – you will not be able to read the lettering on the fuse's own caps

To be straight with you: what rating fuse is fitted in the holder, and whether it is included in the set at all, the maker did not state, and we do not guess: a fuse that is too strong protects nothing. Before ordering, measure the space for your old holder and the fuse length, send us a photo of the old part – we will check it before you order.
