Glass fuse 30A

Glass fuse, the name states 30 A: the photo shows a clear glass tube with two metal caps and a thin straight wire inside. Measure your old fuse's length and diameter before ordering.

• By convention, the fuse is the weakest point in the circuit: on overload it burns out first and so saves the wiring and the device
• Inside there is one straight thin wire, stretched from one cap to the other – that is the fusible element
• The caps are metal and shiny; they have fine imprints on them, but you cannot read them in this photo
• So we take the 30 A figure only from the name – no rating can be read on the fuse itself in the photo
• The frame gives neither the tube length, nor the diameter, nor the voltage, nor a fast/slow-blow marking
• Supplier code 6650 – quote it again when ordering

To be straight with you: whether it is a fast-blow or slow-blow fuse the maker did not state, and we do not guess; nor do we say how long it is – glass fuses come in several sizes, and one that does not fit the holder will either not seat or will not go in at all. Before ordering, measure your old fuse's length and diameter, send us a photo of the old part – we will check it before you order.
