Closed press-fit nut B, threads M3, M4 and M5 with the markings "-1" and "-2": in the photo a long cylindrical body with a bevelled closed end and a round flange. Measure the hole before ordering.

  • This nut is pressed into the sheet metal and creates a thread in it; the end is closed, so the bore does not go all the way through.
  • In the photo, around the bore on the flange there is a ring of fine teeth, and the thread is visible in the bore.
  • A red spot is visible deep in the bore in the photo — the supplier did not explain what it is; apart from it, the photo almost matches the photo of the listings "Closed press-fit nut BS" and "Closed press-fit nut BS4", so we do not judge the surface colour from it.
  • M4 is offered only with "-1", M5 — only with "-2"; the photo shows one specimen with no dimensions.
  • The name and the listing give neither the material, nor the body length, nor the sheet metal thickness range.

To be straight with you: the supplier did not explain what the markings "-1" and "-2" mean, so we do not guess the sheet metal thickness from them. Before ordering, measure the hole and the sheet metal thickness, send us a photo of the part you have — we will check it before you order.
