Plastic mounting plate

Plastic mounting plate 10,5 mm and 17 mm — a bent sheet-metal clip that slides onto the edge of the trim and acts as a nut for a self-tapping screw.

• The sheet metal is yellow zinc-plated, gold in colour — this is how you tell it apart from the black 15 × 18 plate
• On the top face is a bore with a raised rim; a self-tapping screw is driven into it
• The lower tab is spring-loaded — once slid on, the plate holds itself on the edge until you tighten the screw
• The same category has a black plate whose name states 15x18 — the maker did not add units of measure to those numbers
