Air filter foam with spring rotated 45 D43 A

Foam air filter with a 45° rotated connector, port diameter 43 mm. All the air the engine draws in passes through the filter: whatever does not pass through the element will not reach the cylinder either.

• Port diameter 43 mm – the rubber connector fits over the carburettor spigot and is tightened with a clamp; clamp included
• The connector is rotated 45° – the filter sits to the side instead of straight behind the carburettor; useful when there is no room left behind the carburettor
• The foam element is washable and reusable: after washing and drying it well, oil it with air filter oil (you will find it in the category "Oils & care") – dry foam lets dust through
• When to replace: when the element stays grey even after washing, when it is torn, or when the rubber connector has hardened and cracked
• The same filter also comes with a 40 mm connector – you will find it next to this one, in the same list
• An open filter in place of the standard housing lets more air through: the mixture leans out and the main jet usually needs to be taken larger – look for jets in the category "Carburettors and their parts"

To be straight with you: the maker states only the port diameter: it gives neither the housing dimensions nor which engine the filter is meant for. The filter connector is measured from the inside, and the carburettor spigot from the outside: measure the spigot's outer diameter or send us a photo – we will tell you whether it matches.
