YAMAHA BWS reed valve: light-metal flange with four holes, in the drawing 57 mm and 34 mm between hole centres. Measure the gaps between your valve's holes before ordering.

  • The reed valve lets the mixture flow only towards the engine; cracked or no-longer-sealing petals let part of the mixture escape back out.
  • We measured the ends of the dimension arrows: both lines' ends rest on the hole centres — 57 mm on the long side of the flange, 34 mm on the short side.
  • On the side of the flange — a small rectangular boss; what it is for, the photo does not explain.
  • The body is black, the petals are shiny, metal-coloured; the limiter is a yellowish plate with two prongs, fastened with two small screws.
  • The photo gives no bore size, no valve height and no petal thickness.
