Carburettor PZ30. The carburettor's job is to prepare the petrol-air mixture. It determines the start, the idle, and the pull when accelerating.

• Manual choke – a lever on the carburettor itself; the same category has this same carburettor with a choke from the panel too
• Before ordering, compare with your own: the intake flange diameter, and the positions of the cable and hoses – that is what the photos are for
• Once a new carburettor is fitted, the idle almost always needs to be readjusted – there is a separate screw for that

Before you replace the carburettor, check it. Hard starting and an uneven idle are not always its fault: the cause is often the spark plug, the ignition, a clogged fuel tap or fuel filter. That is quicker and simpler to check – start there.
