Product information

MIKUNI carburettor for a two-stroke 50 cm³ class engine. The carburettor's job is to prepare the petrol-and-air mixture. Starting, idling and pull under acceleration all depend on it.

  • Before ordering, compare with your own: the intake flange diameter, and the positions of the cable and hoses – that's what the photos are for
  • After fitting a new carburettor, the idle speed almost always needs adjusting – there is a separate screw for that

Before replacing the carburettor, check first. Hard starting and an uneven idle are not always its fault: the cause is often the spark plug, the ignition, a clogged fuel tap or fuel filter. Those are quicker and easier to check – start there.
