Closed rivet nut with a hex body and a countersunk thin flange, sizes M4, M5, M6 and M8: the photo shows the thin flange following the hex outline, the end closed. Measure the hole before ordering.

  • You need a rivet nut when a thread is required in a thin wall you cannot reach from the back side; since the end is closed, the bore does not go all the way through.
  • In the photo, near the end the body's edges round off into a flat circular end; the surface is a matte silver.
  • The photo shows a single unit with no dimensions — which of the four sizes it belongs to is unknown.
  • The name and the photo give neither the length, nor the sheet-metal thickness range, nor the material.

To be straight with you: the photo shows the shape but not the size, and the supplier did not state the hole diameter. Before ordering, measure the hole and the sheet-metal thickness, send us a photo of the rivet nut you have — we will check it before you order.
