Extended open rivet nut with hex body and countersunk thin flange, sizes M6, M8 and M10: in the photo the body is hexagonal along its whole length, and the thin flange is only slightly wider than it. Measure the hole before ordering.

  • A rivet nut is useful where the sheet is too thin to cut a thread, and you cannot add a nut from the other side.
  • In the photo, at the open end, the internal thread is visible; the surface is bluish silver.
  • When choosing a size, M6, M8 and M10 are offered, while the supplier's data lists only M8 — we give both sources and correct neither.
  • In the photo there is one piece with no dimensions, so which size it belongs to is unknown.
  • The name and the photo give neither the length, nor the sheet thickness range, nor the material.
