Cylinder head nut M6 PIAGGIO: the photo shows one bluish-silver, zinc-plated hexagon nut with a wide serrated flange, flipped flange-up. Check your stud’s thread.

  • Head nuts are screwed onto the cylinder studs and press the head against the cylinder.
  • The flange’s bearing side carries a ring of angled, curved serrations; such serrations bite into the surface the nut rests on and keep it from turning back.
  • The flange is considerably wider than the hexagon part, its outer edge is smooth.
