Carburettor VESPA PHBG 19mm TAIWAN

VESPA PHBG carburettor (Taiwan) – 19 mm diffuser. The carburettor's job is to prepare the petrol and air mixture. It decides the starting, the idle and the pull when accelerating.

• Diffuser (bore diameter) 19 mm – must match your old one or what the engine maker specifies
• The supplier marks it as made in Taiwan – that is the place of manufacture, not the maker's name

• Before ordering, compare with your own: the intake flange diameter, the cable and hose positions – that is what the photos are for
• Once the new carburettor is fitted, the idle almost always needs adjusting – there is a separate screw for that

The carburettor is not always to blame. If the engine starts hard or will not hold idle, first check the spark plug, the ignition, the fuel tap and the fuel filter – that is quicker and simpler.
